About Pete and Liza Kvist

Hi, my name is Pete Kvist and I was born and raised in Newcastle, NSW. I attended Merewether Selective High School, before achieving a Bachelors Degree in Sports Administration, which is another way of saying “Sports Business Management”.

I have worked in many amazing jobs, from the Australian ski fields, to the Sydney Olympic Stadium and more recently with BridgeClimb as a guide and media liaison.

I met my beautiful wife Liza here in Sydney and this is now where we call home. We were married in January 2006 and since then, our work has allowed us to travel the world for several months each year.

We have spent a great deal of time recently in Western Canada, as we love the snow and skiing is a huge passion of mine.

Liza is a true Sydney woman and has called this place home since she was born. Her professional background is in the health food industry and was managing a health food store at the tender age of 17.

Today, Liza is one of the most experienced health food managers in Sydney and is almost weekly offered work from other companies looking to poach her expertise.

For me, I am focusing my time more on our business interests these days as well as doing contract work for several companies around Sydney.

Our business is called “Sugoi” and you can find us on the web at the Sugoi website. We have many branches to the business, though these days, we are tending to focus on the technology aspect of things.

We consider ourselves “professional house sitters” these days and feel very fortunate that we attract such high end house sitting jobs on the Northern Beaches of Sydney on a regular basis.
